BIM accepts no responsibility or liability for breach of proper standards, including any breach of the Food Hygiene and Health and Safety Regulations and other statutory requirements whatsoever, which may occur whether on the premises of a participating partner or otherwise during or after participation in the Seafood Circle programme.

Neither BIM nor their agents accepts any responsibility or liability to any person, including any member of the public arising out of or in connection with the BIM Seafood Circle or any participants in the BIM Seafood Circle.

The BIM Seafood Circle Plaque or the fact that the premises has been listed on the BIM Seafood Circle website is not an endorsement or warranty by BIM or its agents that proper Food Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations have been applied to the preparation of any food on these premises or that the owner of the premises has complied with all or any Food Hygiene regulations. The inclusion merely confirms that the establishment appeared to meet the criteria set down by BIM on the date it was assessed by BIM or its agents.

Membership of Seafood Circle is awarded based on the understanding that on the day of assessment the establishment appeared to meet the criteria set down by BIM.

To monitor compliance with membership criteria, BIM or its agents assesses the establishment at least once a year and satisfies itself that on the date of their visit the establishment appeared to satisfy these requirements.

While every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the BIM Seafood Circle website, BIM cannot, however, accept responsibility for errors and omissions but where such are brought to our attention, they will be amended accordingly.
